Dominion Barbell is a private personal training facility, specializing in Sports Performance Training, Athletic Strength & Conditioning, Powerlifting, and Weight Loss training.

In an age of 'magic' diet pills and 'miracle' weight-loss solutions, Dominion Barbell proudly runs counter to the tsunami of snake oil that has inundated the weight-loss and fitness industry. The fact is, there are currently no magic pills or miracle solutions and the truth is none are forthcoming - because the real solution has always been available. That solution is knowledge of diet and exercise followed by hard work and discipline. We opened our facility with the intention of delivering that knowledge, inspiring the necessary hard work,  providing great equipment not found elsewhere, and promoting an atmosphere where knowledge is shared, hard work admired, and results are respected.
We reject the notion that a gym is by its nature intimidating. Step through our door and you will find all types of people, with all types of bodies, with all variety of goals. The common thread you will find when talking to each one is a positive attitude and the desire to work hard and achieve results. And don't be surprised when you find that those most imposing in appearance, are often among the most friendly and knowledgeable people you will ever meet.

About Our Facility

Our collection of conditioning equipment is quite different from what you will find at a typical gym. This is because it is our belief that we should offer nothing less than the most effective equipment available. And most of the equipment we offer won't be found at any other gym in the area. Why is that? In a phrase - because this equipment is extremely effective! And an effective workout isn't an easy workout. You can't read a magazine and sip your Chai latte on these machines, so most gyms just don't offer them. They would rather you pedal slowly and endlessly on a recumbent bike, glide meaninglessly on an elliptical, or plod lazily on a treadmill while daydreaming of the results you will never achieve.
